Our Mission & Vision

Our Vision

To nurture a vibrant and united Muslim community in Saskatoon, deeply rooted in faith, education, and service, while contributing positively to society.

Our Mission

Our mission is to cultivate a safe, inclusive environment where community members can practice Islam with dignity and freedom. We deliver high-quality education that fosters Islamic values, leadership, and personal growth. Through active engagement with the broader community, we promote understanding, dialogue, and mutual respect for Islam. By building a strong organizational foundation and forming strategic partnerships, we strive to unite the Muslim community, bridge divisions, and ensure sustainability. Above all, we prioritize safety, security, and active participation for the well-being of all members.

About Us

Welcome to the Saskatoon Dawah and Community Center (SDCC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the Muslim community of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. SDCC is more than just a mosque; it is a vibrant hub for worship, daw’ah, education, and community development. Our mission is to create a space where faith, learning, and unity flourish, empowering individuals and fostering a strong sense of belonging.

At SDCC, we provide a safe and welcoming environment for daily prayers, Islamic education, and daw’ah outreach. Our Center is committed to addressing the spiritual, educational, and social needs of the community, offering a range of services that cater to people of all ages and backgrounds. From youth development programs and revert support to faith-crisis services and community initiatives, we strive to uplift and support our members in every way possible.

Our vision extends beyond serving immediate needs. We are working towards building a fully multifaceted facility and community hub that will include future services such as religious counseling, marriage and funeral services, and advanced daw’ah training, Inshā’Allāh. Through these efforts, we aim to unite the community and nurture the values of compassion, collaboration, and continuous learning.

SDCC stands as a beacon of inclusivity and growth, a place where everyone can come together to share in the blessings of faith and community. Whether you are seeking a place to pray, opportunities for personal development, or simply a connection to the Muslim community in Saskatchewan, SDCC is here to welcome and support you.

By 2024, just four years after opening its doors, SDCC celebrated a major milestone: the launch of its own Islamic school within its very own building. This growth stands as a testament to the Center’s unwavering commitment to empowering individuals of all ages and backgrounds, and to its vision of nurturing a strong, inclusive Muslim community in Saskatoon.
